Why should I collect forms using your service?

If you collect a large number of forms, you have probably discovered that keeping track of forms, and performing due diligence on the forms collected, is a time-consuming process. Tax forms can be intimidating to your users. Requesting paper or PDF forms can add unwanted friction to your onboarding process. Our solution simplifies tax form collection, and our API and webhooks enable you to match collected forms with your users automatically.

What security measures do you have in place?

Security is critical when it comes to sensitive personal information. Nextform encrypts all data in transit (while it is transmitted between our servers and authorized users) as well as data at rest (while it is stored on disks) using industry standard AES-256 encryption to prevent unauthorized access. Access to data is restricted with identity and access management policies, and all of our endpoints are reviewed against the OWASP Top 10 awareness principles. Our server infrastructure is designed for data redudancy and regularly backed up to ensure recoverability.

Does your service have a failover?

Yes. Our API is served by a cluster of servers. Our database is synchronously replicated to standby instances. In the unlikely event that an API or database server becomes unavailable, failovers are automatically triggered and do not require administrative intervention.
